Association, Inc. (“Association”), do hereby certify that in the open session of a properly noticed meeting of the Board of Directors (“Board”) of the Association, duly called and held on the
3O% day of September , 2021, with at least a quorum of the Board members
being present and remaining throughout, and being duly authorized to transact business, the
following Supplemental Lake Rules were duly approved by at least a majority vote of the
members of the Board.
RECITALS:
1 Article VIL Section 1(a) of the Association's Amended and Restated Bylaws of Thousand Oaks Property Owners Association, Inc. (“Bylaws”} authorizes the Board to adopt and publish rules and regulations governing the use of Common Area and facilities and the personal
conduct of Association members and their guests thereon, and to establish penalties for infractions thereof.
2. The Board previously adopted Thousand Oaks Amenity Lake(s) Rules and Regulations, recorded under Clerk’s File No. 2007-140664 in the Real Property Records
of Montgomery County, Texas (as the same may be amended from time to time, the “2007 Lake Rules”).
3. Subsequently, the Board and the Board of Directors of Palm Lake Recreation Association, Inc. adopted the Thousand Oaks POA & Palm Lake Recreation Association Lake Rules and Regulations (as the same may be amended from time to time, the “2018 Lake Rules,” and together with the 2007 Lake Rules, the “Original Lake Rules”).
3. The Board has determined it is in the best interest of the Association to establish the following Supplemental Lake Rules, which shall add to the Original Lake Rules.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board of Directors of the Association has
adopted the following Supplemental Lake Rules.
SUPPLEMENTAL LAKE RULES
All capitalized terms used in these Supplemental Amenity Lake(s) Rules and Regulations (these “Rules”) will have the same meanings as those set
forth in the Original Lake Rules or the Declaration unless otherwise defined herein.
In addition to any remedies provided for by law or by the Original Lake Rules, the Association may levy a fine against the responsible Owner for up to five hundred dollars and 00/100 ($500.00) per occurrence for
any of the following violations:
a.
Operation of a watercraft that has not been registered with the Association in accordance with Rule 1 under “Boating,” as set forth in the 2018 Lake Rules;
Operation of a guest or rental watercraft in violation of Rule 1(c) under “Boating” as set forth in the 2018 Lake Rules.
Launching of a watercraft from private property in violation of Rule 17 under “Boating,” as set forth in the 2018 Lake Rules; or
Dumping or disposing of litter, refuse, chemicals, or other foreign liquids into or around any lake located in the Thousand Oaks Subdivision in violation of Rule 8 under "General" as set forth in the 2018 Lake Rules.
The Association shall give the notice required by law, if any, before a fine is levied.
Thereby certify that IT am the duly elected and acting Secretary of the Association and that these Supplemental Lake Rules were approved by at least a majority vote of the Board of Directors as set forth above and now appears in the books and records of the Association, to be effective upon recording in the Official Public Records of Real Property of Montgomery County, Texas.
