Getting through the gate

Thousand Oaks is gated, and access is set up by the gate administrator once your ownership is confirmed. Start this the week you close.

  1. 1. Pick a toll tag or a clicker

The gate opens for an EZ TAG, TxTag or NTTA tag on your vehicle, or for a gate opener (clicker) from Tri-Star Community Management. Either one is registered after you close.

  2. 2. Email the gate administrator

Ask for the new-owner instructions at topoagates@gmail.com.

  3. 3. Allow two weeks

Property ownership is verified before your tag or clicker is set up, so give it about two weeks.

Questions about amenity key cards go to website administration at thousandoaksmagnolia@gmail.com.

Gate details, committee pages and member forms are in the members area. Ask for member access with your name and Thousand Oaks address. Once the office confirms you own the home, you sign in with your email and a code we email you. There is no password to remember.

Your association account

Tri-Star Community Management manages the association. They keep the owner records, collect the annual assessment and answer account questions.

Register on the resident portal

Register once on the CINC portal, set your password from the email it sends, then log in to see your balance and pay by card or e-check.

The deed restrictions and other documents

Every recorded document is public, no sign-in needed: the deed restrictions for each section, the bylaws, plats, guidelines and policies. Buyers, agents and title companies can open them straight from the site.

Before you build, fence or remodel

Building, fencing or changing the outside of your home needs approval from the Architectural Control Committee first. Read the guidelines, then send your application to acc@tristarcm.net.

Setting up services

Thousand Oaks sits outside the Magnolia city limits, so you set up electricity, gas, water, trash and internet with each provider yourself. Trash runs Monday and Thursday through GFL.
